About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Revenue Manager to join our team. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue strategies to drive growth and profitability across our five hotels in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement revenue strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across our portfolio of hotels
  • Work closely with our revenue management team to align strategies and drive business results
  • Chair property weekly RevMax and group meetings to ensure optimal pricing and revenue management decisions
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure effective exposure of our offers and promotions
  • Provide direction and support for leisure and business travel sales managers to determine effective rate offers and packages
  • Track and analyze competitive set pricing and yield strategies to stay ahead of the market
  • Stay current with industry changes and their impact on demand, including our customer industries
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strategic thinking and proven ability to move strategy into action
  • Comfortable in discussion forums and able to present ideas succinctly and convincingly
  • Proven experience in analysis and problem-solving, with a strong track record of driving business results
  • Team building skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-study and independent work ethics, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
  • Strong experience in the use of automated systems, PCs, and office products, including Excel, Word, and IDeaS revenue management system
