Compensation Package

About the Role

The Monitor/Aide will be responsible for providing operational oversight and assisting drivers in the safe operation of routes. This includes monitoring the welfare of passengers, communicating with school personnel and parents, and attending safety and training meetings.

This role requires strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high levels of stress. If you are a team player who is passionate about ensuring student safety, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor passenger welfare during route operations
  • Communicate behavior problems and conditions of various stops with drivers
  • Assist in pre-trip and post-trip inspections of buses
  • Assist students in loading and unloading processes
  • Cooperate and communicate with school staff, students, and parents
  • Attend all safety and training meetings
  • Conduct emergency evacuations from buses
  • Clean the interior of buses
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need good verbal communication skills, attention to detail, early morning availability, judgment/problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage high levels of stress.
