About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team at Keem Waterproofing Inc. as a Waterproofer Helper. This is a permanent position that requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Site Setup and Maintenance: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Applying Materials: Assist in mixing and applying materials such as concrete and asphalt to construction sites.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Earthwork and Paving: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt as required.
  • Clean-up and Maintenance: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and perform routine maintenance work on equipment and site facilities.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Physical Demands: The position requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
  • Repetitive Tasks: The position involves repetitive tasks and may require prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: The position requires a regular 35-40 hour workweek.
