About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team at Keem Waterproofing Inc. as a Waterproofer Helper. This is a permanent position that requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Site Preparation: Help to prepare construction sites by erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment.
  • Mixing and Applying Materials: Assist in mixing and applying materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt.
  • Cleanliness: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The ability to work in a physically demanding environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
