About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at BBC Immigration Services Inc. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Support: Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that all staff members feel supported and valued.
  • Information Coordination: Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and up-to-date on key developments and initiatives.
  • Operations Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluating their effectiveness and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, as well as respond to electronic enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Order office supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and that the office is well-stocked.
  • Front Desk Reception: Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, providing a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors.

  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, requiring a high level of self-motivation and discipline.

  • Personal Qualities: Ability to multitask, be organized, reliable, adaptable, and dependable.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with a regular full-time schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
