Job Title: Gas Station Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+.

Job Summary:

The Gas Station Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet business needs
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels
  • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints
  • Establish work schedules and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including fuel and other products
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or gas station environment
Working Conditions:

The Gas Station Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
