Gas Station Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+.
Job Summary:The Gas Station Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring a safe and efficient customer experience. This role involves supervising sales workers, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are meeting performance expectations
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Organize and maintain inventory, including fuel and merchandise
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods
