Job Title: Gas Station Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a Gas Station Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure we have the necessary products to meet customer demand
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters to inform management decisions
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Physical ability to work in a retail environment
