Emergency Response Program Manager

Adecco Canada is currently hiring a full-time seasoned Emergency Response Coordinator to establish and execute comprehensive emergency preparedness and response initiatives that guarantee the safety and well-being of employees, assets, and the environment for our client in Calgary, AB. This role entails leading emergency response teams, training staff, and ensuring that all protocols align with regulatory standards and best practices. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure to manage crisis situations efficiently and professionally, we are looking for you.

- Shift: Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

- Assist in the development and implementation of the Emergency Management Program.
- Assist with the implementation of the Community Awareness Emergency Response (CAER) Program and Responder newsletter.
- Ensure that all documentation to support regulatory compliance are retained as per regulatory requirements including tracking corrective action plans resulting from reviews of exercises, and management system documentation.
- Assist with the implementation of the Exercise and Training program by coordinating invitations and logistical items supporting the Emergency Management Advisors.
- Monitor and manage the Emergency Management Outlook in-box.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
- Recent and extensive experience utilizing the Microsoft Suite of applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Post-Secondary Education preferred in a discipline related to Emergency Management.
- 3-5 years' experience in a role that includes management system documentation, and technical writing.
- General understanding of pipeline operations, General understanding of emergency management, Fire Fighting and Oil Spill Response.
- Confidence and ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, external customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely for different types of audiences and deliver presentations.
- Flexible and able to work effectively within a team and maintain a professional and respectful manner with co-workers and external parties.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines during critical times.
- Ability to travel for work.
