About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Site Lead to join our team at Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC. As a key member of our Loss Prevention Team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to provide security services and asset protection in a designated area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance security metrics and drive process improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify and mitigate inventory defects and losses.
  • Lead investigations of internal and external theft and fraud, and conduct interviews as needed.
  • Partner with internal customers to evaluate current and future security services, processes, and initiatives.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain candidates who raise the performance bar of the security services organization.
  • Effectively address loss mitigation, physical security considerations, and potential workplace violence incidents.
  • Travel up to 25% domestically and work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, risk management, supply chain management, or other related fields.
  • 2+ years of data collection experience with root cause analysis.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • 1+ year of experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma concepts and certification is a plus.
  • Experience with databases, security equipment, and business types such as logistics, warehouse, and distribution center management.
  • Interviewing and interrogation experience, as well as certifications such as Wicklander and Zulawski, LPQ, CPP, LPC, CFI, or other relevant certifications.
