Job Title: Mitigation Technician

Job Description:

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mitigation Technician to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore. As a key member of our disaster restoration team, you will be responsible for mitigating losses and restoring affected properties to their pre-loss condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond quickly to emergencies such as water, fire, and smoke damage.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, including insureds, adjusters, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain company equipment and ensure supplies and chemicals are properly stocked.
  • Inspect mitigation project sites to ensure quality controls are met.
  • Prepare contents for inspection by insureds and adjusters.
  • Ensure all mitigation and drying equipment is being utilized to full potential.


Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Class G Ontario Drivers license with no restrictions.
  • Able to operate a company-owned vehicle.
  • Willing to take part in on-call rotating schedule.
  • Able to work after hours and on holidays when necessary.
  • Willing to submit personal information for a criminal background check.
  • Have a minimum of IICRC WRT certification.


Benefits:

  • Health & Dental coverage after completion of 90-day probationary period.
  • Monday to Friday schedule with on-call requirements and overtime.

  • Social distancing guidelines in place.
  • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place.


Compensation:
Hourly rate offered will depend on skills and experience, with a range of $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
