As a Strategic Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategy for TransUnion Canada. Your expertise in supplier management, procurement, and third-party risk management will enable us to mitigate risks, improve vendor performance, and drive business value. You will oversee the local procurement of various business services, including IT, professional services, facilities, marketing, and HR, ensuring that all contracts meet minimum standards and requirements.

The successful candidate will possess 7+ years of experience in Supplier/Vendor Management, Procurement, and TPRM in a regulated industry, such as financial services. They will also have strong experience in monitoring, managing, and improving vendor performance in a Federally and/or provincially regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify vendor risks and develop solutions to remediate issues that inhibit service delivery. They will also be skilled in commercial contracts, procurement methodologies, purchase to pay, controls, and negotiations in the Canada region. Additionally, they will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with credibility at all levels of the organization, stakeholders, and suppliers as needed.

This is a hybrid position, involving regular performance of job responsibilities virtually and in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week. Accommodation is available, including for applicants with disabilities, in accordance with applicable laws.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
