About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at AMANST Inc. as an Intermediate QA Analyst. This is a contract opportunity with the Government of Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement testing strategies, test plans, and test cases for large systems in Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-Graphical User Interface (GUI) environments.
  • Plan and organize testing efforts for both large and small systems, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with the testing lead and IT lead of each project, as well as project team members, to analyze, design, develop, implement, and support required systems.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience working as a Software QA Tester.
  • 5+ years of experience testing a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Application.
  • Experience testing Oracle Siebel CRM application is a strong asset.
  • Experience working on Siebel Test Automation is an asset.
  • Experience testing Adobe AEM is an asset.
  • Displays an understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
  • Displays an understanding of PM Methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one programming language.
  • Experience in the use of information retrieval packages.
  • Knowledge and understanding of testing methods in an object-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
