Teller II

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teller II to join our team at First Interstate Bank. As a Teller II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and handling daily teller transactions in both the lobby and drive-up locations of the branch.
Key Responsibilities- Process a high volume of teller transactions daily using our current teller platform.
- Transactions include processing deposits, loan payments, mortgage payments, credit card payments, escrow payments, cash advances, check cashing, official check purchases, gift card sales, travel card sales, proof transactions, and the buying or selling of foreign currency.
- Responsible for the effective use of 360View, including Activities, Incidents, and Referrals to business partners.
- Responsible for recognizing the need to place holds according to Reg CC and bank policy and for following all proper check and cash handling standards.
- Mentors Teller I employees.
- Follows all check and proper cash handling standards. Meets or exceeds bank cash balancing standards.
- Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions and applies to designated job responsibilities.
- Keeps up to date on regulation changes; follows all bank policies and procedures and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Work experience in banking, finance, business, or related field 1 or more years.
We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The pay range for this position is $19.11 to $24.18 per hour in CO and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Benefits include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability benefits and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, employee assistance program, 401(k), Paid Time Off (new hires accrue at.069 per hours worked which equates to approximately 18 days per year inclusive of paid sick time) and up to 11 paid Federal holidays.
