Space Mission Operations Specialist

- Lead and coordinate day-to-day execution on the multi-disciplinary project team, in support of the Program Manager, to meet technical and schedule requirements and budget constraints.
- Apply and organize assigned resources to execute the work scope, ensuring shortages or conflicts are identified to the Program Manager.
- Ensure ongoing project team coordination and communication, especially across disciplines, to ensure full buy-in to project objectives and resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or equivalent
- CAPM or PMP highly desirable
- 5+ years of overall experience in engineering functions in space, vision systems, or related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience with team leadership, task estimating and monitoring, and familiarity with Earned Value Methodology.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate a team and work with external stakeholders.
