Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Pressure Vessel Fabrication Specialist to join our team at John Brooks Company. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for executing high-quality pressure welding using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welding Operations: Execute high-quality pressure welding using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes, ensuring consistent precision and craftsmanship.
  • Material Preparation: Safely position, fit, and assemble a range of substrates, including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Carbon-to-Stainless, and Aluminum.
  • Inspection and Testing: Ensure all welds are subject to RT (radiographic) inspection and perform hydrotesting procedures as applicable.
  • Miscellaneous: As required, transport and/or position material and equipment to and from work area manually by hooking for overhead crane or by using floor operated overhead crane or forklift.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of applicable welding experience.
  • Qualifications: Proven commitment to workplace safety, successful completion of MDA welder testing to obtain tickets per MDA procedures, and basic understanding of blueprint reading weld symbols.
  • Teamwork: Commitment to quality and ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
