Welder Fitter Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled welder fitter to join our team. As a welder fitter, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding, fitting, and grinding tasks. You will also be required to work directly with a team member on large pieces and perform quality checks.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and fitting tasks
- Assist in other areas of the shop as needed
- Pay strong attention to Health & Safety protocols
- Work directly with a team member on large pieces
- Perform quality checks

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a true welder/fitter
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical testing
- Can pass a flat MIG test
- Can pass a written blueprint/weld symbol test
- Experience with pressure vessel welding an asset

- Competitive hourly rate of $28-$32
- Straight day shift 6am - 3pm Monday to Thursday, 6 - 12 Fridays
