KF Aerospace is a leading provider of innovative aircraft solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Deputy GBTS Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in overseeing the Training Information Management Systems (TIMS) and ensuring the coordination of changes to courseware and documentation used by the Department of National Defence (DND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Courseware Management: You'll be responsible for the technical development and integration of courseware, training equipment, and TIMS, as well as coordinating changes to courseware and software.
  • Liaison with software companies and Allied Wings: You'll ensure prompt communication of technical issues and track and validate issues between organizations.
  • Training Program Improvement Committee (TPIC): You'll participate in this committee to drive improvements to our training programs.
  • Course Critique Program: You'll ensure timely surveys are issued to students, review and deliver course survey results, and provide statistical analysis reports as requested.
  • Audits, inspections, and internal reviews: You'll assist with these activities as required.
  • Acting GBTS Manager and Project Manager: You'll be responsible for acting in these roles as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Degree from an accredited university or college in Project or Business Management, or in Education
  • Experience in instructional design or curriculum review
  • Knowledge of aviation/military terminology preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Works and Government Services Clearance
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs
  • Ability to travel within and outside of Canada
  • Valid passport and driver's license
  • Consistently demonstrate a higher level of competency in sound decision making, problem-solving, leadership, and communication
