Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ATS Life Sciences Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for our life sciences customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for life sciences applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings and bills of materials
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards
  • Work with vendors to source and procure materials and components
  • Participate in design and development of new products and technologies
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with specific exposure to pneumatic sizing, servo sizing, and automation safety standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
