Job Description

ATS Automation is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, tools, and equipment for our clients in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, tools, and equipment using AutoCAD and Solid Works
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine shape, dimensions, and materials
  • Perform engineering calculations to ensure compliance with applicable standards
  • Liaise with customers and in-house technical and engineering staff to ensure project success
  • Communicate design changes and progress to project leads and team members
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
