Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ATS Life Sciences Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for our life sciences customers.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, with experience in designing and developing complex mechanical systems and equipment. You will be responsible for working closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure that our designs meet the needs of our customers and are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for our life sciences customers
  • Work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure that our designs meet the needs of our customers and are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
  • Collaborate with our customers to understand their design requirements and ensure that our designs meet their needs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design tools and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our design processes and deliverables
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on designing and developing complex mechanical systems and equipment
  • Strong background in drafting principles, with experience in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
