Pension Benefit Calculation Leadership Expert

Are you a skilled leader with expertise in pension calculation and administration? We are seeking an experienced Functional Lead to manage deliverables of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for delivering functionalities related to the Defined Benefit Pension Plan component.
About the Role:
- We are looking for a seasoned leader with high-level understanding of our overall solution, detailed knowledge of its Defined Benefit Pension component, and comprehension of how this component interacts with the overall solution.
- You will be responsible for managing deliverables of a multidisciplinary team, including business analysts and calculation auditors.
- Your primary focus will be on delivering functionalities related to the Defined Benefit Pension Plan component, meeting quality expectations and deadlines.
What You'll Achieve:
- You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects implementing solutions for new customers across North America, gaining experience in automating features and expanding your skills.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for problem-solving, coordinate interactions between different implementation teams, and represent client needs to our product development team.
- You will determine and manage implementation team priorities, perform continuous planning of deliverables, and control project scope according to contract specifications.
Requirements:
- A university degree in actuarial science, mathematics, project management, or other relevant field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in defined benefit pension plans, or 5-7 years with a degree in actuarial science or mathematics with a focus on actuarial science.
- Experience with Canadian and/or U.S. pension plans, as well as verification of pension plan calculations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in pension calculation tools, knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar project management tools, and fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational skills, strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and ability to positively influence internal and external stakeholders.
