About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Benefits and Pension Specialist to join our Compensation and Benefits team at Siemens Energy Canada Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering benefits and pension programs for Siemens Energy North America.

Key responsibilities include leading and partnering with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure successful administration of our benefits and pension programs. This will involve engagement with our 3rd party administrators and service providers, with a focus on continuous process improvement opportunities.

You will also be responsible for extracting reports and conducting analyses in support of benefits & pension plan administration, as well as supporting and leading assigned activities associated with quarterly and annual compliance requirements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or comparable work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3-5 years experience managing and administering Canada benefits & pensions.
  • Current knowledge of Canada laws and regulations that impact HR, Compensation, & Benefits.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work as part of a virtual team, but effective in self-directed activity.
  • Comfortable working in a flexible/hybrid working model, in-office and via online collaboration tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent English proficiency required; Advanced proficiency of Canadian French is a plus.
