Mercer is seeking a talented Legal Consultant to support its consultants in providing expert advice on the legal aspects of registered pension plans, savings plans, and employee benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pension and employee benefit law, with a keen interest in taxation. They will be responsible for managing projects of varying complexity, collaborating with clients and their legal counsel, and informing Mercer consultants and clients of legal developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects related to registered pension plans, savings plans, and employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with clients and their legal counsel to find practical solutions.
  • Inform Mercer consultants and clients of legal developments.

Requirements:

  • JD or LL.B & called to the Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience in pension and employee benefit law.
  • Relevant experience in taxation will be considered an asset.
