Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Finance Manager in identifying and implementing process improvements in the procure-to-pay process.
- Develop, mentor, and coach the accounts payable team.
- Lead the team responsible for the completion of accounts payable transactions and processes.
- Work closely with the Corporate Accounting team to find synergies in transaction processing and supporting the strategic initiatives of the company.
- Ensure appropriate payment processes and procedures are followed.
Requirements:
- Business degree or diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and project management.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- SAP user knowledge is an asset.
