RBC Dominion Securities Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to join their team in Vancouver, Canada. This exciting opportunity offers a comprehensive compensation package and the chance to work with a leading financial institution.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to a successful Portfolio Management/advisory Team, ensuring exceptional client service and maintaining current knowledge of client accounts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing account opening documentation
  • FOLLOWING UP ON DOCUMENTATION WITH CLIENTS OR BACK OFFICE AS REQUIRED
  • FOLLOWING UP ON CLIENT TRADES TO ENSURE PROPER SETTLEMENT AND DELIVERY
  • Maintaining all pending plan transfers to ensure proper settlement and delivery
  • Scheduling portfolio reviews
  • Preparing client review materials, correspondence and reports
  • Utilizing contact management system for daily task management and client record-keeping
  • Assisting in filing and preparing mailings such as seminars, newsletters and information packages
  • Conducting various administrative functions as required including the review of incoming mail and answering telephone calls

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Administrative experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure meeting strict deadlines
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional organizational skills

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH)
  • Financial industry knowledge
  • Minimum 1-2 years Investment Industry experience
  • Proficiency in Excel
