Job SummaryThis is a permanent position that requires the ability to operate heavy duty trucks and transport goods across various routes. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, be able to handle physical demands of the job, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy duty trucks safely and efficiently
- Transport goods across various routes, including local and long-haul trips
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicles are in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers
- Manage time and prioritize tasks to meet delivery deadlines
- Commercial Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Valid CVOR Certificate
- Extended Trailer Combination Permit or Endorsement
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy duty truck driver
- Excellent driving record and ability to pass regular checks
