Job Description:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and serve delicious meals to our customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Determining portion sizes and costs of menu items
  • Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies
  • Preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Ordering supplies and equipment
  • Supervising kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas
  • Recruiting and hiring staff
  • Managing kitchen operations
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
