Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Store Manager to lead our retail team. This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, and we offer free parking, learning/training paid by employer, and subsidized public transportation.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role is $**75,000**, with additional benefits as per collective agreement.

Job Description
  • Direct and control daily operations of our gas bar and retail business.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet sales targets.
  • Manage staff and assign duties effectively.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor impact on sales.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold based on market analysis.
  • Implement price and credits policies to optimize sales revenue.
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers.
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
  • Oversee payroll administration and conduct performance reviews.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a management role, preferably in retail or a similar industry.
  • Ability to relocate for this position (optional).
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Lawful eligibility to work in Canada.
