About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Manager to join our mental health program. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate and direct the unit's operations, human resources, and fiscal resources.



Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Collaborating with the Program Director, Medical Director, Educator, and other allied health members to ensure high-quality services and care;
  • Coordinating and directing the unit's operations, including planning, implementing, and integrating plans aligned with the Medicine Program and the organization's vision and strategic directions;
  • Demonstrating knowledge in clinical practice, interpersonal, communication, coaching, mentoring, and team building skills;
  • Leading by example and fostering a culture of excellence, leadership, and empathy within the team.


Requirements


To be considered for this role, you must have:



  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or another regulated health professional field; a Master's degree is preferred;
  • A Nurse Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario or another regulated Health Professional College;
  • At least 2-5 years of clinical frontline leadership experience, preferably in mental health;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical practice, systems analysis techniques, value analysis process, continuous improvement principles, and tools.


Salary and Benefits


The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and opportunities for professional development.
