At Canada Inc., we are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information within the team, directing and controlling daily operations, and planning and controlling budget and expenditures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Direct and control daily operations
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Manage contracts
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Work Setting

This role will be based in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre and will involve working with a team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

We are committed to supporting newcomers and refugees in their integration into our community. This role will involve participating in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, and assisting with their immediate settlement needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Assisting with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Supporting social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruiting newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Supporting newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offering mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
