We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at the 404 Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital in Newmarket, ON.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of animals and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist with surgical procedures, including preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and patient recovery
- Provide exceptional patient care, including physical examinations, patient assessment, and compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to provide high-quality patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
- Completion of a Veterinary Technician program
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records
