Job Summary

The Breakfast Cook is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and serving a hearty breakfast to our guests in a remote camp setting. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook breakfast for guests at site, adhering to menu standards and quality control guidelines
  • Ensure consistent quality of food preparation, including consideration of special dietary constraints
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Comply with food safety regulations and maintain accurate records of food handling and preparation
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hot breakfast service environment, preferably in a camp or remote setting
  • Large-scale cooking experience, including production of baked goods and other menu items
  • Current Food Safe certification and First Aid level 1 certification
  • Ability to work a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, with occasional travel to site locations
