As a member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality care to seniors in our long-term care facilities. You will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and report to the Director of Care, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, as well as critical thinking, care coordination, time management, and customer focus skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers are also essential.

**Job Description:**

  • Provide nursing and personal care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Assist residents with daily routines and functions, such as bathing, dressing, and eating meals
  • Review 24-72 hour reports at the beginning of each shift
  • Follow and process physician orders
  • Administer medications and treatments within the limitations set by the College of Nurses

**Requirements:**

  • Current Medication Administration Certificate or equivalent
  • Current certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing
  • Experience in Long-Term Care considered an asset
