Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Wild Blue Restaurant and Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, such as banquets, and ensure presentation meets our high standards.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
  • Cook Trade Certification, Safe Food Handling certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
