Job Title: Caretaker II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Caretaker II to join our team at York Region District School Board. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our schools and facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the school and facilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning, painting, and repairing
* Assist with the setup and teardown of events and activities
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
