Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Caretaker II to join our team at York Region District School Board. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs
  • Assist with special events and projects as required
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or custodial role an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
