About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Industrial Specialist to join our team at Partap Forest Products Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance and operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities and Malfunctions: Utilize your expertise to identify and resolve issues with industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Repair or Replace Defective Machinery Parts: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, including fabricating parts as needed, to maintain the integrity and efficiency of our operations.
  • Operate Machining Tools and Equipment: Safely operate various machining tools and equipment to fabricate parts, install machinery, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints and Specifications: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Welding Techniques: Possess expertise in various welding techniques, including oxy-acetylene welding, flux core arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, and shielded metal arc welding.
  • Experience and Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in industrial maintenance and repair. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, with a focus on technical or vocational training.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 32-hour workweek.
  • Language of Work: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
