Job Title: Industrial Mechanic and Millwright

Fraser Plastics Ltd is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to work on-site at our Maple Ridge, BC location. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical equipment, assembling stationary industrial machinery, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Construct foundations for machinery
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Install machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work on-site at our Maple Ridge, BC location
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Environment

The work environment is noisy, and the successful candidate must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
