Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain security and adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Process refunds, exchanges, and returns, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of customer transactions.
  • Assist customers with information, directions, and other requests, demonstrating a high level of product knowledge and expertise.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient handling of sales tax exempt records and damaged merchandise.
  • Verify returned merchandise against refund slips prior to returning it to the sales floor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures, including refund automation and sales tax exempt records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
