Instructional Designer, Learning Technologies

At Saint Mary's University, we are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer, Learning Technologies to join our Studio for Teaching and Learning team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating educational and training programs for faculty, students, professionals, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop educational programs using various formats, including classroom-based, online classes, and self-study modules.
  • Develop and deliver content that meets the diverse needs of learners and learning environments.
  • Conduct analysis and evaluation to identify and request learning technologies that satisfy curriculum development needs.
  • Apply learning technologies as tools to support instructional design principles, pedagogy, and andragogy.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field such as Adult Education, Curriculum Design, Computer Science, Business, or Organizational Development.
  • Expertise in utilizing various learning technologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, pedagogy, and andragogy.
