Job Summary

Charles MacPherson Associates is seeking an experienced and skilled Private Chef to join our team. As a Private Chef, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and varied meals for our clients. This is a full-time, live-out position that requires flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culinary Expertise: Develop and implement menus that cater to our clients' tastes and dietary needs. Possess a deep understanding of various cuisines and be able to adapt to new recipes and cooking techniques.
  • Food Procurement: Source high-quality ingredients and manage kitchen inventory to ensure efficient and cost-effective meal preparation.
  • Menu Planning: Create and maintain a menu rotation to avoid repetition and ensure a diverse range of meals.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communication: Develop strong relationships with our clients, staff, and vendors through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Culinary Education: A degree or diploma from an accredited culinary institution is an asset.
  • Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Driver's License: A valid, clean Ontario driver's license (class G) is an asset.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
