Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage spaces.
  • Operate institutional cooking equipment, such as dishwashers and food preparation machinery.
  • Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, ordering, and inventory management.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless meal service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance food safety and quality knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
