Job Title: Dining Room Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Dining Room Manager to join our team at Cataraqui Golf and Country Club. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining room, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements
  • Monitor revenues to determine labor costs
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food presentation
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services, and negotiate arrangements with suppliers
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and lead/instruct individuals as needed
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Smart Serve certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking
