Job Title: Dining Room Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Room Manager to join our team at Cataraqui Golf and Country Club. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our dining rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and manage budgets to optimize restaurant profits
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure seamless service
  • Monitor revenues and labor costs to maintain profitability
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and training
  • Recruit, supervise, and train staff to ensure excellent service
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services to maintain profitability
  • Enforce provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Lead and instruct staff to achieve excellent service
  • Address customer complaints and concerns
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Establish operational procedures to ensure efficiency
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a 1-2 year program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Smart Serve certification
  • MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Windows proficiency
  • Point of sale system experience
  • Spreadsheet skills
