Job Title: Dietitian II, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian II to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive nutrition care to patients with gastrointestinal and hepatological disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition care plans for patients with complex gastrointestinal and hepatological conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations and support the implementation of nutrition care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in pediatric nutrition and gastroenterology, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Dietetics or a related field.
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
- Experience working in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology, with a focus on nutrition support and management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
