Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans for pediatric patients with gastroenterology and hepatology conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations and support.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in pediatric nutrition and gastroenterology.
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutritional Sciences from an accredited university.
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia with Restricted Activity A, B, and C as appropriate for designated patient/client population.
- Certification as a Nutrition Support Clinician by the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, Inc.
- Completion of an advanced anthropometrics workshop or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- A minimum of two years recent related pediatric clinical experience, including nutrition support in an acute pediatric healthcare setting, focusing on gastrointestinal disorders.
