Job Title: Dietitian II, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian II to join our team at BC Children's Hospital, providing exceptional nutrition care to patients with gastroenterology and hepatology conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans for pediatric patients with gastroenterology and hepatology conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations and support.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in pediatric nutrition and gastroenterology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutritional Sciences from an accredited university.
  • Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia with Restricted Activity A, B, and C as appropriate for designated patient/client population.
  • Certification as a Nutrition Support Clinician by the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, Inc.
  • Completion of an advanced anthropometrics workshop or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A minimum of two years recent related pediatric clinical experience, including nutrition support in an acute pediatric healthcare setting, focusing on gastrointestinal disorders.
