Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to join our team at the Prince George Regional Correctional Centre. As an Administrative Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of healthcare services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and book client appointments and follow-up appointments, ensuring that all necessary information is provided to clinicians and BC Corrections staff.
  • Register and admit clients into our system, ensuring that all demographic and contact information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Perform referral functions, including data entry, sending out client questionnaires, and receiving and processing related paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including data entry and collation of information.
  • Provide administrative support, including typing and distributing correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Requirements
  • Grade 12, plus two (2) years' recent experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to keyboard 40 wpm and knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
