Job Title: Strategic Sales Leader for Alternative Investments

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to head our external wholesaling team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in alternative investments and extensive experience in managing sales teams. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:


Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of external wholesalers, setting clear performance objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.


Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the alternative investment space, aligning with company goals.


Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in alternative investments.


Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, financial advisors, and industry partners.


Sales Training: Provide training and support to wholesalers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.


Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales metrics, providing regular reports to senior management on team performance and market opportunities.


Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and compliance teams to align strategies and enhance product offerings.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (industry designations are a bonus).


• Minimum 7+ years of experience as an External Wholesaler / Manager of a team of External Wholesalers (need a combination of both roles) with experience selling alternatives.


• Proven and successful experience managing and leading sales teams.


• Strong understanding of alternative investment products and strategies.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.


• Located in Calgary, Alberta, or willing to relocate.

What We Offer:


Compensation: $175,000-$225,000 base salary + excellent commission structure
