Aughdem Recruitment is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive business growth and expand the customer base for our client, a small, up-and-coming construction company based in Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand the customer base.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the President and other executives to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the President.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless and professional customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the construction market, including industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Vice President of Sales or in a similar senior sales leadership role, preferably within the construction industry. They will possess strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing a sales team. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building and maintaining client relationships, are essential. A strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, strong analytical skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field are also required.
